Stewart Homes is fully licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services to provide residential services to children and youth with complex medical and developmental challenges.
These two homes are staff-operated residences located side by side in Pickering. They both provide twenty-four hour care for multiply handicapped, medically complex (fragile) children. Both homes are equipped to manage non-ambulatory children. Guild One Residence opened in 1993 and Guild Two in 1995.
We are pleased to announce that a third, three year CARF accreditation was awarded to Stewart Homes in June 2017 for its Community Housing Programs for Children and Adolescents and its Community Integration Programs for Medically Fragile Children.
